The head of state traveled to address Ukrainian forces in the Pokrovsk area on the start of the week. The president confirmed that he consulted soldiers at the operational headquarters of the first unit of the state defense force Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya zone, a town approximately 20km from the city.

Intense Circumstances in the Area

Geospatial data from a Ukrainian project revealed that opposition armies had advanced deeper into the city and surrounding areas, though a large portion remained beyond firm control by either side. The situation remains critical, with updates indicating that Russian forces were fortifying positions and enhancing fortifications in various sectors.

Opposition armies continue to advance in the Pokrovsk front and are reportedly acting with enhanced confidence within urban Pokrovsk.

Germany plans to boost armed assistance to Ukraine by three billion euros next year to about 11.5 billion euros, the economic authority in the German government said on Tuesday. This comprises, among other things, heavy weapons, unmanned aircraft, armoured vehicles and the substitution of air defense units.

Norwegian munitions maker the company has established a cooperation framework with a local manufacturing firm to manufacture, create and distribute munitions in Ukraine.
